Eight years ago I sat with my mother in an almost empty movie theatre, impatiently waiting for Pride and Prejudice to show on the screen. That moment started a love of Jane Austen that I will appreciate for the rest of my life.
Your efforts in creating this work, taking something which has been so overdone and giving it a life of its own, has made such an impact on my life. I have begun new friendships based on the phrase “Have you watched The Lizzie Bennet Diaries?!”, had moments of joy and laughter and tears, made discoveries in my own life, and been encouraged to take risks. I mean, I look forward to Mondays now, which is amazing in and of itself. Thank you for being so profound in my life, and I’m willing to spend all my money on whatever fantastical physical format you come up with to let us have our own copies of this amazing series. I cannot wait to see what you come up with next.
